The Local Police of Alfas del Pi currently consists of 43 agents and seven officers who ensure the safety of the town´s citizens. But how is the proficiency of the police officers ensured?
The police personnel in Alfas del Pi undergo an extensive selection process, choosing the most qualified and dedicated workers. “We improve the working conditions of our staff and at the same time we increase resources to offer quality service to the entire community, reported the Human Resources Councilor, Loli Albero.
Before joining the Police, the applicants undergo physical fitness tests; these were recently held at the Municipal Sports Centre and in the Sports Centre of La Nucia. According to the Personnel Councilor, 160 applicants were invited to carry out the tests, with 95 attending and 72 achieving to pass.
After the examination, the applicants undertake a psychotechnical aptitude test, which will take place soon. The tests have been held without any problems and the Personnel Area is doing a magnificent job, said the Councilor for Human Resources about the latest application process.
He emphasised the impact of the selection: We strengthen and rejuvenate the police force.
