Karla Ingleton Darocas was born in Toronto and attended the University of Waterloo for a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts with Honours, specialising in film. There, her craft of storytelling elevated as studied Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dali and discovered her love for the Mediterranean. She has extensive years of experience working in journalism and has published nine successful books in the past.
Karla has been living in Spain since 2001, now residing in Benitachell and is dedicated to sharing the beauty and reality of the places which continue to shape her, and which with her art, can never be forgotten.
