Aspe has launched its first-ever Balcony Decoration Competition, inviting residents to take part.
The aim is to encourage community involvement and spread Christmas cheer throughout the town. The winner of this category will receive a selection of local products.
Additionally, Aspe has announced the latest edition of its traditional Window Display Decoration Competition, a popular event among local businesses. Entries will be judged on originality, lighting, and creativity, with cash prizes of €150, €100, and €50 awarded to the top three winners.
Open to all Residents Businesses
The competition is open to all local establishments and residents. Participants can register by emailing [email protected] before 19 December.
Judging will take place on the afternoon of 19 December, with the jury visiting all participating displays and balconies.
The Council is also rolling out a broader programme. Alongside the traditional visit from Father Christmas on 24 December, businesses and restaurants are invited to bring their services outdoors during the afternoons of 24 and 31 December, adding to the festive cheer of the town’s celebrations.
