THIS holiday season, Almería is gearing up for a magical celebration with over 200 festive activities for all ages.

A festive wonderland: Over 200 activities for all ages

Under the theme ‘Almería mágica es Navidad’ (Almería is magical at Christmas), the city will sparkle with concerts, workshops, and events running from November 29 to January 7.

The beloved Christmas Market and ice rink on Avenida Federico García Lorca are just the beginning. Families can enjoy everything from live music, featuring tributes to The Beatles and Michael Jackson, to flamenco star Niña Pastori’s soulful tunes. Highlights like Swan Lake and the opera Tosca bring a touch of elegance to the season.

A magical experience for kids: Almeripark’s festive fun

For kids, Almeripark offers a festive hub packed with activities. The city’s stunning light displays, including nightly shows in Plaza de la Catedral, promise to dazzle visitors of all ages. Sustainability takes centre stage too, with climate-awareness workshops running alongside traditional attractions like the Municipal Nativity Scene and the popular Playmobil display, now celebrating its 10th year.

Join the fun: Full program available on almeria.es

Almería’s Christmas festivities are all about community. From street parades and local carol competitions to performances by neighbourhood choirs, the season combines classic traditions with a modern twist. And all of this takes place under the city’s sunny winter skies.

To make the most of the holidays, check out the full program on almeria.es and join in the celebration, because this year, Almería truly is magical at Christmas!
