Nestled in a private 12-acre estate adjacent to C.S. Lewis’ former home and gardens in the UK, Cedar Hollow Treehouse offers a unique getaway. Located just 15 minutes by bike from Oxford’s historic city centre and a 90-minute drive from London, this retreat invites guests to explore the very woods that inspired C.S. Lewis’ famous tales.
The property’s design features nods to Narnia, including a “magic” wardrobe leading to the surrounding forest and carvings inspired by Lewis’ stories. According to Good News Network, Dr. Yaz Romahi, an engineer and member of The Magic Circle, built the treehouse initially to host children with serious illnesses through the Congenital Anaemia Network. Now, the retreat is also available as a short-term rental, welcoming guests seeking a one-of-a-kind experience.
