An intense away win for Hospital Ochoa CB Marbella in Fuengirola puts them at the top of the Tercera league.
Hospital Ochoa CB Marbella achieved an important victory in their visit to Fuengirola, defeating CB Salliver Fuengirola Higuerón Hotel with a score of 64-72. In a tough and intense match, the Marbella team managed to prevail in the second half to claim the win and remain at the top of the Tercera FEB standings.
Second Half Key to Victory
The game began with a closely contested first quarter (24-18) in favour of CB Salliver, but Hospital Ochoa CB Marbella adjusted their defence and stayed in contention during the second quarter, ending with an 11-14 run. It was in the second half when the visiting team demonstrated their superiority, particularly in the third quarter, where a 5-17 run allowed them to take a lead that they would not relinquish. Although the final quarter was more balanced, CB Marbella managed their advantage well and secured the victory.
Standout Performances
Pedro Salvador López was the team s top scorer with 15 points and 4 rebounds, playing a key role in the Marbella offence. Christopher also contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds, while Justinas Leganovic added 13 points, showing great shooting efficiency.
Next Home Game
Next Saturday, November 30 at 5.30pm, Hospital Ochoa CB Marbella will play at home against Unicaja Andalucía. Another opportunity to keep adding victories and consolidate their position at the top of the standings.
