‘Pesca de Juguetes en Benalmádena’, or Fishing for toys in Benalmádena, begins on Sunday, December 1 in the Bil-Bil castle from 11am to 2pm.
The idea behind the event is to unite the local community in a grand collection of toys, clothes, and books that will be donated to children and families in economically vulnerable situations, ensuring, according to social welfare councillor Áurea Peralta, that ‘no child is left without a gift on these special festive days of the year. Everything donated will be given to Caritas Diocesana Inmaculada Concepción, who will take care of the delivery and redistribution of the toys to those who need them most.’
Three recognised motorcycle associations will also participate in the initiative to bring a touch of adrenaline and community, specifically, Grupo Motero 222, Sun Coast Customs, and V-Strom Andalucía. At 11am, a motorcycle rally has been planned that will start in front of the Pre-Columbian Museum in Benalmádena Pueblo, ending at 12.30pm at the El Bil-Bil Castle, where there will be a motorcycle exhibition. Those interested in participating in the route can consult the link provided for this route through this link.
For those who have toys or clothes for children to donate, take them in bags to Bil-Bil Castle on Sunday, December 1 at 11am.
