Privacy Policy

ClickIQ is a leading market research company that specializes in online market research technologies and panel management applications. We build and maintain online consumer and business-to-business panels as part of our product offering. You can be assured your privacy and the confidentiality of your information is our number one priority. All individual information provided is held strictly confidential.

The Information We Gather
ClickIQ gathers personally identifiable information (including potentially name, email address, postal address) and personal preference information when individual consumers or business people register to join one of our panels. As part of registration as well as after registration, we ask panelists to provide us with more personal information so that we may invite them to appropriate surveys. Depending on the panel you join, we ask that you fill out a registration questionnaire that gathers some personal information as well as some general consumer or business information depending on the specific panel you are participating in. We ask for your email address so that we can send you email invitations to participate in our upcoming research events. The other personal information we gather, such as your name, address, gender, date of birth, and employment status, is for matching you with the appropriate marketing research projects as appropriate to the panel you join. Your date of birth, if relevant to the specific panel you are on, is used to automatically update your age for us to target age-related marketing groups. We ask you for this information as a means to see if you might qualify for particular projects. All email contact from ClickIQ will be sent to your primary email address that you gave to us upon registration. If you become a panel member, your personally identifiable information (name, address, city, state, and Zip) is also used for the purposes of incentive fulfillment. From time to time, third parties may be used to facilitate panel management activities such as email campaigns or incentive fulfillment. In such cases, the minimum amount of information is transferred to these third parties to allow them to perform specific tasks for us.

If you take a survey or provide us with personal information without being a member of one of our panels, the only personally identifiable information we will preserve is your email address. We do this so we may contact you if you have won a prize or are entitled to an incentive. Unless you elect to become a member of one of ClickIQ's panels, we will not contact you for any reason other than to notify you that you have won a prize or are eligible for an incentive. If you are entitled to a prize or an incentive, we will collect and maintain such personally identifiable information as we are required to maintain or report by virtue of any law or regulation.

Use of This Information
Except as specified above, ClickIQ does not sell or transfer the personally identifiable information collected about the members of its panels or the individuals that take surveys sponsored by us. ClickIQ will never share or intentionally transfer personally identifiable information to a third party without prior authorization from the participating panelist or as required by law. If you are a member of one of our panels, your information is stored in our secure database so you may be invited to participate in events that are relevant to your interests and profiles. If it is determined that your profile makes you a potential candidate for a research event, ClickIQ will email you an invitation to make you aware of this opportunity.

The Use of Cookies on Our Site
ClickIQ uses web browser cookies only to manage the panelist's current session. When the panelist logs into the website, a unique cookie is used to identify that panelist's session. ClickIQ does not use persistent cookies, and no personal information is stored in cookies.

How to Access and Correct Your Personal Information
When a panelist's contact information, or other personal information provided as part of the panelist's profile participation changes, they have the ability to access this data and modify it. Panelist participants can log into their account by visiting the log-in page of the specific panel in which they are a member. Once at their individual account page, the panelist may select any of the profiles and associated questions to modify their answers. At this account page, panelists also have the option of deactivating their account and no longer participating in future panel activities and events. Consumers or business people that participate in ClickIQ-hosted research events but do not join a panel cannot modify any personal information.

Opt-Out Policy
By joining one of ClickIQ's panels, you agree to receive emails inviting you to participate in surveys that we feel relevant to your interests, occupation and/or profiles. From time to time, we will also email you to make you aware of new features or panelist participation opportunities. You may update your registration information at any time. If you choose to no longer participate as a panelist, you may deactivate your account by contacting customer service at

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and management procedures to safeguard and secure the information that we collect. Appropriate levels of encryption are used for all sensitive information including passwords. ClickIQ will never ask you for private information such as credit card numbers or social security numbers as part of our research. We may be required by law to ask you for your social security number to comply with reporting laws and regulations if you receive a participation incentive.

Business Transfers
As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy additional assets. In such transactions, ClickIQ's right to contact the members of its various panels and the information that these members have voluntarily provided in their profiles would generally be one of the transferred business assets.

Legal Disclaimer
We may disclose personal information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the edicts of the law or to comply with a legal process served on our website.

Notification of Changes to Privacy Statement
A notice of changes to this Privacy Statement will be posted 10 business days prior to its implementation at the site that you use to participate on a ClickIQ panel.

Children's Privacy
ClickIQ does not permit children under the age of 13 to enroll as panelists. Therefore it never collects information from children under the age of 13. ClickIQ is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
